Medic 1 Ambulance promotes itself by educating the public on how to access its services, when services are needed, and the awareness of risk-associated behaviors, such as recognizing common dangers and injury prevention.

We have an Explorer Program that allows us to interact with the school district often. Medic 1 also provides standby’s for athletic events, community events and community education utilizing the assistance of our trained explorers at those events.

Many times throughout the school year, Medic 1 Ambulance provides area schoolchildren First Aid, CPR, and Safety Programs. Annually we teach 3rd to 5th grade students household safety, farm safety and injury prevention programs. We teach high school students First Aid and CPR, and "what to do before the ambulance arrives".
